Q: How is the collection industry likely to change in the next 15 years?

A: Collection businesses will likely offer a wider variety of client services, including an increased capacity for greater billing and accounts receivable management and increased “early out” or pre-collection services. Many agencies are expanding existing services and technology beyond the traditional contingency collection functions.

What’s New at CBS

At the Bureau, we have collaborated with our account representatives to create learning opportunities for them to grow in their career.

This has resulted in specialty designation classes, which will begin this month. Some of the designations we will be offering our staff are: financial coaching, banking, rental properties, disability, commercial accounts and skip tracing.

Holly’s Legal Minute

Our attorneys are required to check if the consumer and spouse (if listed) are active duty military before proceeding with their case. To do that, they MUST have the Social Security Number and Date of Birth for the consumer and spouse (if listed). When you turn accounts over to our agency, please be sure to include the Social Security Number and Date of Birth for both the consumer and spouse (if listed) if you have it.
